The Pratt Company began operations in 1893.  They were in iron foundry but also produced their own line of hardware items and rodent traps. In 1920 WM. Pratt took his interest in duck hunting to the next level, by making decoys. In 1923 Pratt purchased the assets of the Mason Decoy Company.
