Broadbill (Blue Bill) Drake Duck Decoy

This is one decoy from the special order rig made by Wildfowler (Quogue) for Charles Belt, a wealthy gunner from Westhampton, Long Island, New York.  The order, done in 1959, was for use on Shinnecock Bay and consisted of broadbill, redheads and canvasback species.  (**See page 208, Wildfowler Decoys, Cowan & LaFountain)  This solid decoy is in original paint and condition and retains the keel and weight.  Excellent all around!
